The Will of God

“How is it I shall do thy will?
It’s all a guessing game!”
“I now behold my will and thine
Are merging as the same.”

“I will submit to anything
Of me you shall desire!”
“An open heart and patience, child,
Are all that I require.”

“I’ll bend my knee obediently,
Please tell me what to do!”
“I’ll give you signs and open doors.
The rest is up to you.”

“Who AM I, Lord? What is my role?
That’s all I want to see!”
“The hope you have in ignorance
Is what shall make them free.”
